Measurement and lead flow

Analytics and lead tracking that connect the dots.

Traffic is useful context. A suitable inquiry is a clearer business signal. We design measurement around the path from a visit to a recorded lead and, where available, the outcome of that lead.

Let’s talk about your website

Define the events before installing tags

We agree what counts as a completed inquiry, which supporting actions are useful and what information belongs in the lead system. A form start, chat opening and accepted submission should have different meanings.

We measure a completed inquiry when the request has been accepted, then keep supporting actions such as form starts separate. That gives the report a clearer connection to the opportunities your team can follow up.

Connect the inquiry to its context

A useful lead record can include the selected service, target city, landing page and campaign information when available and appropriate. That helps your team respond and helps you evaluate which marketing deserves further investment.

  • Separate accepted leads from button clicks and form starts.
  • Preserve source context without placing personal details in analytics.
  • Review duplicate submissions and obvious test traffic.
  • Confirm that a successful submission reaches the intended destination.

Use each system for the question it answers

Search Console helps investigate search visibility and discovery. Website analytics helps explain measured visits and actions. Your lead system records the people who contacted you and the result of the conversation.

Those systems have different boundaries. We reconcile the story they tell rather than assume that every total must match exactly.

Turn reporting into a next step

A useful review names the priority service, shows where the customer journey is weak and recommends a specific action. More unsuitable inquiries may call for better qualification. Strong inquiries from a page may justify improving or expanding that subject.

Verify the accepted-lead event

For a GA4 implementation, generate_lead is a suitable recommended event for a submitted lead request. It should fire after the receiving system accepts the inquiry, rather than on a button press. We verify the event, its useful nonpersonal parameters and its relationship to the saved request. Names, email addresses, telephone numbers and message text stay out of analytics. Where the business tracks later qualification or sales outcomes, those stages should be defined separately and reconciled with the lead system.

A few useful answers

What to know before your next move.

Talk through your project
Can I see which marketing generated a lead?

Often, available source and campaign information can be connected to a recorded inquiry. Attribution has limits, including consent choices and missing referral information. We make those limits clear instead of implying complete visibility.

Should names and emails go into Google Analytics?

Keep contact information in the lead system, not in analytics event parameters or URLs. Analytics should measure the event and suitable non-identifying context.

What should a monthly report show?

Priority search visibility, important landing-page activity, accepted inquiries and available lead-quality feedback. It should also explain what changed and which action comes next.
