Practical perspective

Read local results with the right context

A local search observation needs a query, a place and a date before it can inform a decision.

Compare equivalent observations

A query made near a business is not directly comparable to a query elsewhere in its service area. Keep the sampled conditions visible rather than reporting one position for an entire city.

Review information a customer can use

Check service descriptions, opening information and the destination page against the business’s own records. A visibility discussion should not overlook a misleading customer path.

Keep certainty proportional

Use the platform’s explanation and repeatable observations. Neither a single screenshot nor a change in one metric proves the cause of a ranking movement.
