SEO project scope & budgeting

Compare the work before comparing the fee.

Choose between a focused audit, a defined implementation and ongoing improvement by the problem you need to solve.

Three ways to structure the work

A focused audit
Useful when the problem or priority is uncertain. Agree on the pages reviewed, access needed, findings format and whether implementation is included.
A defined implementation project
Useful when the change is understood. Name the affected content, templates, review rounds, dependencies and acceptance checks.
Ongoing improvement
Useful when there is a maintained backlog and enough evidence to review progress. Specify the work capacity, review rhythm and how new priorities are chosen.
Separate operating costs
Clarify software, hosting, advertising and other third-party costs. Identify who owns the accounts and who may approve spending.

Make proposals comparable

Compare the same deliverables and responsibilities. A strategy document, a finished implementation and ongoing maintenance are different scopes even when they share an SEO label.

This review does not publish a price list or accept orders. Actual availability, fees, contracting entity and terms need agreement before engagement.

Try the planning tools

Use your own assumptions to separate one-time and recurring costs, then explore what a contribution scenario would require. Neither tool provides a quote, market-rate benchmark or forecast.
