Practical perspective
Compare search channels against a working inquiry path
A channel plan is incomplete when the business cannot reliably handle the resulting request.
Establish the common destination
Review the offer, page and accepted inquiry process first. Paying for visits to a misleading or unavailable contact path does not solve the underlying problem.
Make the responsibilities visible
Separate organic implementation work from campaign management and advertising spend. Record who can approve changes and costs in each system.
Compare useful outcomes
Use the same definition of an accepted inquiry or customer across channels. Report attribution uncertainty and contribution after relevant costs, rather than declaring a winner from clicks alone.
