ChicagoSEO.us website audit example

From a source finding to a verifiable correction.

A documented example from the ChicagoSEO.us local rebuild review. This is first-party website work, not a client ranking or revenue case study.

Scope and date

On October 23, 2026, the review accounted for 332 existing ChicagoSEO.us URLs. It read and classified the 309 URLs remaining after the core-page review, retaining dated public HTML receipts and hashes.

The completed local candidate contained 183 content and utility pages and 149 isolated geographic review notices. The notices were excluded from normal navigation and the sitemap. No URL was redirected on the live site.

What changed in the local candidate

Footer destination
The public source footer logo linked to an unrelated domain. The local candidate sends both logo links to its own homepage.
Inquiry status
The old thank-you page claimed a received message. The disabled-intake candidate states that opening the page does not send a request or confirm a receipt.
Geographic repetition
The source review found repeated regional and neighborhood templates without distinct operating evidence. Those addresses remain review records instead of cloned local service offers.
Useful resource content
The library adds topic-specific explanations, glossary definitions and two numeric planning calculators. Each tool distinguishes its assumptions from a quote or forecast.

What the checks established

  • 333 HTML documents passed structural checks, including the separate missing-page document.
  • 341 GET-only local response checks matched the packaged artifact and verified review headers and a real 404 response.
  • All 332 original paths were checked at 320 pixels wide without horizontal overflow.
  • Both calculators passed calculation, invalid-input and keyboard-reset checks.
  • An extracted package rebuilt to the same source and artifact digests without installing dependencies.

What this does not establish

These are local implementation checks. They do not prove a production release, search indexing, improved rankings, traffic growth, qualified inquiries or customer revenue. No client testimonial or outside business result is being claimed.

At the time of the local review on October 23, 2026, the original WordPress site had not been changed. These historical checks describe the reviewed artifact; they do not attest to current enquiry delivery or business results.

A reusable lesson

A useful audit connects an observation to a bounded correction and a reproducible check. Keep source, implementation, preview and production acceptance distinct so a successful test does not become an unsupported business claim.
