Roles in an SEO project

Know who is responsible for each part of the work.

A successful project brief separates business facts, strategy, implementation, review and measurement—even when one person holds several roles.

Business and factual review

A business representative supplies the actual services, coverage, availability and approved proof. This role resolves contradictions that public research cannot settle, such as who receives inquiries or owns a project image.

Search strategy and content

The strategy role connects customer questions to pages and priorities. The writing role explains the subject clearly and keeps sources and limitations close to material claims. The roles may be combined, but their responsibilities should remain clear.

Implementation and quality review

The implementation owner understands the existing stack, dependencies and recovery process. The reviewer checks the affected paths and interactions against the agreed behavior and records which version passed.

Measurement and business follow-through

The measurement owner defines the sources and limits behind the report. The business owner verifies useful inquiries and outcomes. Reporting access alone does not prove that a customer request was received and handled.

Who performs these roles?

The actual people and delivery arrangement must be named in an engagement. This page describes responsibilities; it does not invent employees, credentials or subcontractor relationships. Illustrative artwork is not a staff photograph.
